My Funny Valentine

So I've been asked several times what I want for Valentine's, and invited to Paris, which i thought was too expensive, and we can go anytime. Now, I know boo does not like Valentine's. He feels the pressure to get it right, do the right romantic thing, get a great present n all that. It simply doesn't work for him, and that takes the shine off it for me too.

So, I decided we shall stay home, have a delish dinner, lots of vino, and watch Grand Budapest Hotel, which I've wanetd to see since it came out, and then start devouring Better Call Saul. That's what I told him I want for Valentine's last night. The relief on his face was palpable. SORTED!!

Tonight we're dinner and clubbing over the road from work, aka Serendipity, which looks to be very good indeed, they have a few surprises up their sleeve. And a lot of cheese I'm told.

I don't like it either, it feels too commercialised and strained. I prefer random gestures of love because they mean more. I'm on the miserable bugger wagon haha!
