New Year's Eve was a tad quieter for us, twofold reasons. Himself got a bit of holiday tummy the day we started returning to the UK, it's only just pasing now. he really was quite unwell. So a big party was out of the question. Also, post some 30 hours of travelling, finishing at 10am NYE, mad partying wasn't really what either of us wanted, so we accepted a local invitation from good friends, only about 8 of us, lovely food, good company, and a long quiz, which the ladies won, naturally. We watched London's fireworks on the telly, had several glasses of wine and a lethal cocktail, and rabitted quite happily.
We stayed overnight, didn't wake up til 10.30 and sat with the others chatting for a few hours over coffees and sosige n egg toasties before finally, finally coming home. And we've had a pretty lazy day, thankfully.
So that's us, I hope the new year brings wonderful things for us, and you. new adventures, discoveries, learning, happiness, love and laughter xxxxxxxxxxxx
