Saturday was a semi-easy day. Gym in the morning, followed by lashes and then the hairdressers. Then a wee nana nap, before we set off to London - via Hertford and Welwyn to drop his eldest off for her 19th birthday, and then via Brentford to pick up boo's lappy and flight tickets. Three hours in the car *phew*

Found free car parking directly opposite the Novotel Waterloo, which I had a free room and breakfast at, and got checked in by two lovely guys. Straight up to the room for some bucks fizz, and too many wasabi nuts. To the point where I was sneezing and my eyes were watering, but they are yummy. Happy to find a firm and comfortable bed as well. So we went to bed, not for sleepies though. Then availaled myself of the complimentary water in the mini bar, before donning leather shorts and biker boots and heading off. The hotel was even closer than we thought to where we wanted to be, and in a safe area, so we simply walked, it was a lovely evening anyway.

Great time at the club, met lots of lovely people, and one Brazilian got very attached to me - to the point where boo n me found him extremely irritating. But that aside, lots of dancing, wine and chatter, all good.

We strolled back along the river bank, just as the sun was starting to rise, it was stunning. Our room overlooked Lambeth Palace and Big Ben, what a great location. And then to bed, tired n happy n sexxed up.

Breakfast til 11 on Sundays, buffet style, very nice. Great coffee, and again, some super staff. No time to use the gym or sauna, maybe next time, as I will certainly be returning! Very efficient check out, and we headed off to the nearby New Covent Garden for the GIANT boot fair and market. Free in, free parking, lots to look at, some fab food stalls, and I was gifted with 2 adorable vintage handbags, so I'm very chuffed!

Back towards home, realised that I've left all my credit cards somewhere, so cancelled those. And then the local munch at The Bulls Head. We were seated in the new part, which is lovely. The pub was busy, as ever, lots of people sitting outside, and this was a late lunch, we didn't sit down til 4pm. I went for the chicken and steak combo, lush. However, I do wish they'd revert to their old style pate! Service good, worked out at £12 for 2 course, can't moan at that! I do like this pub lots, the staff are great, as is the good, and it's easily the most attractive in the area, lots of outdoor seating and free car parking. Top marks.

A few came back to ours for coffee (I couldn't face any more wine) and we've poodled the rest of the evening away.

We are dead loved-up at the moment, himself has been saying toe-curlingly sweet and meaningful things to me for the last 2 days. I will miss him next week :(
