Lovely day out with Dawnie and Sandie yesterday!

The new development at Kings Cross is great, sympathetic to the old. Naturally it is full of overpriced shops, luxury apartments that locals can't afford, and offices. However, it still looks good.

Major sympathy with the vintage traders. It was blowing a gale, there was a lot of crap in the wind, us girls were constantly getting bits out of our eyes, and ended up sneezing incessantly. Traders were having to literally stand there holding on to their rails. One poor woman said she was trying not to cry as she struggled with her wares. And the wind made it bitterly cold in such an open area. But we persisted until 1pm, when we adjourned for lunch.

I liked the goodies, genuine vintage and hand made items, well presented. Lots of people dressed up in vintage finery, and great swing music. A really good vibe. And reasonable prices considering.

Last night I binge watched The Victim, which was twisty and turny.

Today, I will be at the London Marathon, helping people once they have crossed the line. An honour.
