It's turned cold, so the back door needing replacing, along with the handle, lock, et all has reared it's ugly head again. Plus, the guttering has decided to part company with the roof. So I'm going to have to pay for all of that to be done. I think I can safely kiss goodbye to any thoughts of a safari trip to Africa next year. But that won't stop me dreaming. In fact, I'm going to look at more websites right now!

The fact that it has turned nippy and things need doing that require large cash outlays provide a good incentive for me to Ebay more. Always good to have a driver!

I decided to defrost a leg of lamb from the meat mausoleum last night, and invited a friend over to a late n lazy Sunday lunch. She has declined, but I'm going to have a roast with all the trimmings anyway.
