I was asked.

Because I think calling out racism is the right thing to do.

Because their children need a better example of a human being than the parent who posts that shit.

Because that shit hurts and demonises people.

Because if everybody just ignores that shit, it becomes the norm.

Because First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

To be honest, human ills are not my thang. I’m with the animals. But that takes a lot of watching distressing footage. It takes a lot of research and correspondence with MPs, governement agencies, environment people, at the end of which, you may or may not help get something closed down or somebody jailed. It’s upsetting and time consuming.

But calling somebody out on blatant racism on the internet is quick and easy. It’s also the right thing to do. And I do at least try, to do the right thing. I’m not always successful.......

I think I may be the subject of another deliberate lie. Something told to other people to make the liar look good, and me bad. The problem with lying, is the truth is always there, and it’ll bite you in the arse. Plus of course, there’s that nasty taste left by a coward who’d rather pretend somebody else is hysterical, than admit any fault on their part.
