Ain't nothin' gonna break-a my stride

Back on half dose of my painkillers and anti-inflammatories, which is pleasing. My back is reasonably settled.

Cigarettes are under control.

Food intake is under control.

Wine intake is under control.

Late nights are under control.

Gym 3 times a week under control.

Spending under control.

Back on the pill - the period was un unwanted surprise, I've no desire to have another!

Sleep much more reasonable than it has been.

And although my ankle is far from good, I noticed as I left Pret this morning, with my steaming White Filter and delicious egg and bacon brioche in my mitts, that I was no longer mincing. No. Indeed I appear to be back to striding.

I have started a new regime, partially to steer myself away from cigarettes, but also because one was needed. When I get home from work or gym, instead of idling away an hour or so looking at crappola on the web, or playing Scrabble, I head straight for a bath after feeding the cats. I put washing in and cook at the same time, eat dinner and wash up straight afterwards. This leaves me with everything done and 2ish hours free before bed. Not exciting, but it's working. I am actually seeing the (very few) TV programmes I want to, read more, have more time for the cats and I'm more organised. And less tired. WIN!
