Good Deeds

I am struggling with walking at the moment. It doesn't show too much, it's almost an invisble problem, but it hurts, hey ho. But more of that later. Yesterday I got on the bus at Euston as I can't manage the walk at the moment. The bus was already rammed, not unusual at all during rush hour of course. Two unfortunate mums had their pushchairs folded up and were carrying bags and babies But more squeezed on. One stop down, there were more passengers waiting, including a wheelchair user. But no space for anybody to get on and nobody got off. And suddenly a cheer went up. And it transpired that 7 lads had been sent on a "good deed day", and they had to attempt 7 deeds in 7 hours involving all 7 of them. So they vacated the bus, and space was made for the wheelchair user.  Nobody said anything, so I said thank you to them and wished them luck on their quest.

Respect
Given the state of my own mobility (currently zero), I have developed a new respect for you. Go, Miss P (but do, please, not show me up by zooting around so much. For God's sake, woman, rest up a little!)
